Rural Route Transportation Services was founded by a veteran who experienced firsthand the challenges of getting to medical appointments in rural Nova Scotia.
After years of navigating the medical system, the VAC system, and the Medavie Blue Cross system, it only seems to become harder to get the care you need. Departments not talking to each other. Claims systems denying your request without even telling you why. And even if you work through all of that, getting back and forth to appointments is just another obstacle, especially in most of Nova Scotia where the distances are long and the options are limited.
